Here's an outline of what a bio should be. If you follow this rubric and don't go below the sentence limit, your bio is sure to be accepted! First, I'll explain every aspect of the bio. Then, there'll be a code at the bottom for you to copy and paste.
-- In your title, you should have your cats name and Clan, to make it easy. If it's not done, put ND, or WIP or something in the title --
Name:
Personality
In the other section, simply place anything else you think is important. Like if your warrior wants an apprentice, or if your apprentice needs a warrior, if you want a mate for this cat, etc.
** Please keep your bio neat by having a space between sections if it is more than half a line!
Quick code:
-- In your title, you should have your cats name and Clan, to make it easy. If it's not done, put ND, or WIP or something in the title --
Name:
This is pretty simple. If you are part of a Clan, your name must be two words, like Runningstream, that make sense when combined. Cats must understand the meaning of said words, so no "Glittertoes" or something. If you have a non-Clan cat, your name can be anything, really.Clan:
Once again, simple. Your cat is either in one of the four Clans, RainClan, LeafClan, MoonClan, or MistClan, or they have no Clan, which, in that case, they are either a rogue, who has been banned from the Clans, or a loner, who's just there, not causing trouble, or a kittypet, which is a housecat.Rank:
What rank your cat is. The "high spots" are Leader, Deputy, Medicine cat, and the Medicine Cat's apprentice. If these are not taken, you can post a bio for them, but if there is an audition, you need to say that they are applying for the spot. Other ranks include warrior, queen (must have kits or be pregnant), apprentice (needs to request a warrior in the bio, please), or kit.Age:
In moons. One moon equals one month. There is no such thing as a year for the cats, and I'd rather you not use seasons, as those are annoying to convert into moons. So please, just put it in moons. Not everyone has a calculator in their head! And no extravagant ages, either. Kits are from 2-5 moons, apprentices from 6 to about 12-14 moons, and warriors are warriors from about 13-50 moons or so. Most warriors retire around then, but some, like Whitestorm in the warriors books, stay for longer.Gender
Pretty obvious, I'd think. Tom = male, She-cat = female. That's all you have to put!Quick Description:
A short, very short descrption about your cat. All I need in this section is the type of cat (tabby, calico, etc.), the main fur color, and their eye color. Save the details for next. minimum sentences: 1Description
If this doesn't have a lot of detail, you're in trouble. Make sure you cover the basics, fur color, eye color, size, build, scars, etc. Please, keep it realistic. Cat's eye colors actually depend partially on their fur color, so make sure you can find a picture that matches the fur & eye color at least, or say that it is an unusual color. No red eyes except for albinos (white cats), and no purple eyes unless they're blind. Fur color also needs to be realistic. NO PINK CATS! Also, if they are laced with scars or something, they're not going to be attractive. Just...no. Once again, keep it real, man!
Minimum of 6 to 7 sentences, please.
Personality
How your cat acts. No Mary or Gary-Sues - in other words, no perfect cats. It's okay if they seem perfect but have a major flaw or something like that, but they can't be the perfect model for all the little kits in the Clan. If you're at a loss for words, you can talk about how your character acts around peers, elders, etc.History
Minimum of 6 to 7 sentences, please.
This is what has happened in the past to your kitty. The length can vary depending on age and rank, obviously a kit won't have a very long history!RP Example
Kits only need 3 sentences,
Apprentices need 5 to 6 sentences
Warriors need 7 to 9 sentences
Medicine cats need 7 to 9 sentences
Leaders need 8 to 10 sentences because they are so awesome!
Okay, sob stories are all sobby and stuff, and it gives your character depth, but not every cat in the forest needs all of their family to die in front of their eyes! You can have living relatives without roleplaying them. Also, all living and dead relatives should be included in this section.
Here is were you post your best RP Example. it should be about your cat that you are creating. About 10 to 15 sentences please. Also you only need to post your RP example on your first cat.
In the other section, simply place anything else you think is important. Like if your warrior wants an apprentice, or if your apprentice needs a warrior, if you want a mate for this cat, etc.
** Please keep your bio neat by having a space between sections if it is more than half a line!
